The term People of Determination reflects the UAE’s forward-thinking approach to inclusivity, recognizing the resilience and achievements of individuals with disabilities. This initiative, introduced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in 2017, emphasizes ability, contribution, and determination rather than limitations.
The event encouraged businesses to go beyond awareness and take actionable steps to create accessible workplaces, equal opportunities, and a stronger sense of belonging for People of Determination across the business community.
